Do you have a gambler in your life that's hard to shop for?
If you're like me, you definitely have people in your life who like to spend an evening and a few hundred dollars at the casino. Fortunately, the one thing we know about gamblers is that they like to play casino games, which opens up a whole world of Christmas gifts you can give.
Of course, the world has provided a number of crazy, cool, and fun gifts that are all gambling-themed and will help your friends hone their craft more often and/or better.
Still, it can be hard to narrow down gifts to just a few selections. Fortunately, I gamble, and I love to get presents as often as possible. Therefore, I have found 10 presents that gamblers would love to receive for Christmas within various budgets.
I promise you that somewhere on this list is a gift that your favorite gambler would love to find in their stocking this Christmas.
A Note About Price
This post includes prices for the items. They are current as of the time of this writing, though price on the internet is a fluid thing. Especially when the gifts are handmade (like Etsy) or sold via a third party (some Amazon gifts), there will be fluctuations in cost.
Even better, you may be able to beat the prices I listed if a third party is selling the same item. With that said, I tried to choose the lowest price if I saw the same item for sale twice.
Personalized Dice ($5+ on Etsy)
For the craps player in all of us, I present personalized dice. Kudos casino no deposit bonus 2017.
Sure, a given six-sided die doesn't feature a lot of room for personalization (and usually, you can only personalize one of the die's six faces.) Still, for about $10 with shipping, you can get a personalized set of dice and let your gambler know how you really feel.
Perhaps you can have one die say 'love' and the other 'you' or even better, have one read 'you' and the other 'suck.' The sky's the limit on what you put on the dice, and the price is very reasonable!
Electronic Slot Machines ($10+ on Amazon)
Small, handheld, cheaply made electronic slot machines are good for white elephant gifts and stocking stuffers for those friends that enjoy playing slot machines games. They're not the most elegant of gifts and haven't really improved in quality since the 1980s.
With that said, don't discount them as the cherry on top of the gambler's cake or a quick gift for someone. The fact of the matter is, as silly as it seems, these electronic machines have a certain addiction factor that even the most ardent slot machine purist can't resist.
Even better, if you need to pick something up in an emergency situation, you can find these at any Wal-Mart or Target for about the same price. They're in the toy section with the card games.
Funny Gifts ($15+ on Amazon)
A brief tour of Amazon revealed a number of funny gambling-related gifts that run the gamut from laugh-out-loud funny to dad-joke funny, but any of them make a good gift for the gambler in your life.
A quick Amazon search for gambling gifts will turn up a number of options, but my personal favorite was the slot machine toilet paper (though I can already see my teenaged child turning this into a game…), the t-shirt that read 'I'm probably bluffing,' and the slot machine granny salt and pepper shakers.
Play casino empire online free. Your mileage will vary on the best gift for your audience, but you should know there are a number of gambling-related items that are pretty funny. I would avoid the 'I'd hit that' t-shirts, though. They're likely never in good taste.
Roulette Shots Drinking Game ($18+ on Amazon)
A fun blend of table gamers two favorite things, roulette and drinking.
This item is basically a serving tray for different shots with a 'roulette' wheel in the middle.
Wherever the ball lands, that is the shot you'd take. Simple and easy!
It's also a simple little gift for the right person that lets them have fun at their next casino night and shows you honor their love of gaming.
Vegas Sign ($28+ on Amazon)
Even if your favorite gambler only goes to the local casino or Atlantic City, deep down, everyone who enjoys gambling in Las Vegas has a soft spot in their heart the city. To commemorate that soft spot, Amazon has ridiculously well-priced LED and metal signs that say Las Vegas.
It's not quite the same as bringing the neon glamor of Vegas to your corner of the world, but it's not too far, either.
Plus, it's a nice decoration for an office or poker room.
Personalized Poker Chips ($30+ on Oriental Trading Company)
I had seen personalized poker sets where the case or the cards are personalized to the user. Recently, technology has made personalizing poker chips a lot more affordable, too.
Now, for a surprisingly cheap amount, you can put a picture and two lines of text on a set of a hundred poker chips (in varying denominations). That should be enough for most people to host a poker night and make everyone else look at your favorite gambler's face.
Roulette Wheel With Accessories ($38+ on Amazon)
Sometimes, a roulette shot glass wheel just isn't enough. In this case, you want to give your favorite gambler their own roulette wheel. Free williams slots.
This can be somewhat of a dangerous gift, though. There are lots of cheaply made roulette wheels that will get unbalanced or break after a few spins. That's why if you want to get a serious gift, I don't recommend spending less than $35.
You can spend a lot more than that, too, but the $38 price tag seemed solid and came with the felt and other accessories that your gambler needs to host casino night at their house.
Daniel Negreanu's MasterClass ($99 on MasterClass)
This gift only works if your gambler has an interest in playing poker, but if they do, what better gift could there be than one-on-one instruction from a pro?
Daniel Negreanu's MasterClass on poker is a comprehensive lesson on how to do better at Texas Holdem and is one of the best poker resources out there. Even if your gambler is a poker pro, Daniel Negreanu can still teach them something.
Just make sure that your gambler has a good internet connection, as that is definitely required for this gift.
Also, if you're worried about giving a MasterClass, they have easy options on their site to buy a class for other people.
Hotel Gift Certificates (Varies)
If you know that your favorite gambler likes to go to Vegas, fly off to Atlantic City, or spend the night at the local casino, why not get them a gift certificate? You don't need to get a certificate that will cover their entire trip or even a night's stay.
Gifts For A Sports Gambler
Every little bit helps get that gambler to the casino and even if you gave them a $10 certificate, that's $10 more they can spend at the table.
Used Slot Machine (Varies)
This is the high-ticket item that you're only going to give someone that's really high up on your Christmas list. A used slot machine (that was once in a casino) is going to set you back about $400, plus shipping. However, if you have the funds, this is a great addition to your game room.
NOTE:To get one, you can actually look on Amazon to see if any casinos have parted with slot machines from their casino. You can also do a Google search to find one.
Gifts For A Gambler
Once you've found the used slot machine, it's just a matter of paying, arranging to get the slot machine in your house, then figuring out how to get it wrapped.
Seriously, those things are huge!
Conclusion
As you can see, there are a lot of gifts out there that you can give your favorite gambler to suit any price range. All you need to do is figure out how much you want to spend on that person and consult the chart above.
If you're not looking to spend a lot of money, look for those electronic slot machines or personalized dice. If you don't mind splashing the cash, gift certificates to a hotel chain or that slot machine that was once in a real casino are both exceptionally good gifts.
Of course, you know your gambler better than I, so have fun with it. Get creative, but rest assured that gamblers will really love something you get them from this list.

Please enable JavaScript to view the comments powered by Disqus.Ho ho ho…or Happy Hanukkah…or Merry Kwanza…or…We have no idea what holidays you celebrate, but we do know that most of these holidays involve the act of gift giving. This goes for birthdays, too, and a lot of other holidays and special occasions that don't happen around the end of the year. If you're anything like us, you love to try and give the perfect gift. While we love to give the perfect gift, sometimes it can be a challenge.
If the special someone that you're shopping for is a gambler and you know absolutely nothing about the matter, we've got you covered. Today, we're going to walk you through some ideas to help you figure out exactly what gift would be best for that special gambler in your life. While we don't know you all personally, we think these tips and suggestions should be good enough to help steer you in the right direction.
Know What Game They Play
The most important thing that you're going to need to know is what game your gambler plays. Do they play poker? Blackjack? Slots? Roulette? What are their favorite games? You see, gambling is not one big umbrella where everyone plays all of the games. It's very common to see a gambler who plays only one game and has never had any interest in the rest. This is especially common with poker players as they are, in fact, not actually gambling (they're playing a game of skill). Many poker players have zero interest in the casino games, which means a casino related gift would be a miss.
If you ask them this around the holidays, they're going to know why you're asking which is totally ok. This does give them a chance to let you know if they want something in particular or if there is absolutely nothing that they want or need to go with their particular game of choice.
The funny thing about gift giving is that people think gifts lose value if you ask the person what they want specifically. This is simply not true. Think about when you get gifts. Would you rather be surprised by a gift that you kind of want or have a pretty good idea that you're getting a gift that you really want? We think that most of you sane individuals would say you would want the gift you really want with a little inkling that it's on the way. Why would this be any different for anyone else?
Know Their Skill Level Within the Game
This is an extremely important thing to know. One that you're not going to be able to figure out unless you do some digging or followed our earlier advice and asked. You need to know whether or not your gambler is brand new at a particular game or if they're an expert who has been playing the game for years.
Here's a non-gambling related example. Imagine that you are getting a gift for someone who likes football. You decide that you're going to get them a nice football. Is this a great gift for someone who is an NFL player? Probably not. Is this a great gift for a young kid who is brand new to the sport of football? Absolutely. The point is that people at different points in their gambling journey will have different needs and wants. See why it's important to ask?
If the person has been playing the game for years, they're probably going to have specific things that they want or need. They'll know exactly what they need to complement their craft, which makes gift giving easy as long as you ask them for some insight.
If someone is brand new to a game, it can be a bit of a challenge. Even they might not know what they want. Together 3 5 14. The good news in these situations is that you really can't go wrong with anything. They aren't going to have everything under the sun, so most likely anything you get them is going to be new and beneficial.
Some Ideas
This would be a pretty terrible gift guide if we didn't at least give you some specific direction towards what you can buy. Remember, our number one advice is to ask what your gambler is interested in or what they need. If you don't want to do this or they have no idea, we're going to lay out some thoughts that might be able to help you.
Instructional Materials
The number one thing that you can get for a gambler who plays any game is something that will help teach them how to play that game better. This can include books, videos, training seminars, private coaching or any other materials that might help them to learn a little more about their craft.
Don't just pick up the first book or resource that you see. Use the Internet and search for reviews and breakdowns of the content that is covered within the book or program. There are a lot of great resources out there, and there are a lot of garbage resources out there.
Gifts For A Casino Gambler
Read through reviews and try and see if you can get expert opinions on whether or not a book or resource is worth its weight. Red stag bonus. Don't be turned off just because a book is older. Sometimes the older resources are still around because they are that good. The best advice we can give is to research who the writer of the book is. Are they someone who has a history of success in that industry? Are they someone who is still relevant? Remember the cliché phrase, 'Those who can't do, teach.' Make sure that the person you're going to be getting advice from in the book or resource knows what they're talking about.
Make sure that if you do give a gift like this that you get a gift receipt. Some of the first few purchases that gamblers make are books and training resources, so it's always possible they have the book or resource that you got them. A gift receipt will allow them to return it and get something that they don't have yet.
Supplies to Practice With
This is one where you're really going to need to inquire about what your special someone has or does not have. If they're a beginner, there are probably a lot of things that you can get them that they can use. Price range will be all over the place, but there should be cheaper and more expensive things available for every game.
If it's a kid, they're going to love a little roulette wheel or deck of cards to practice blackjack with at home. If they're an adult, though, they probably won't have much use for a pretend roulette wheel since they can just go to an actual casino or play roulette online.
An additional challenge here is that there are going to be varying levels of quality when it comes to the supplies as well. Depending on how serious your gambler is, this may or may not make a difference. For example, let's say you're going to be purchasing poker chips for someone who loves poker. If they're a serious player, the cheap set of plastic chips from Wal-Mart might not be what they're looking for. But, if your gambler is a complete novice, those less expensive plastic chips could be perfect!
The Bottom Line
We've said it a few times, but we're going to hammer on it again. The best advice we can give you is to ask your special gambler if they have any ideas of something that could help them with their favorite game. Gambling is such a specialized niche that you're going to be hard-pressed to be able just to guess what it is that someone wants or needs. Furthermore, if you go to a store, you probably won't run into many experts who are going to be able to give you any good advice that's specific to your special someone.
If you're shopping for a kid, this becomes a lot easier because you have a lot of options they can use to play with and practice with since they aren't allowed in casinos. Play wheel of fortune game online. Pretend casino sets, chipsets, pretend roulette wheels…They're all great for kids that want to play. American roulette wheel. If it's an adult, though, you need to work on getting more practical with the gifts.
Remember, people would much rather get the right gift with a little heads-up as to what they might get rather than getting the wrong gift as a complete surprise. If you can't ask for some reason, you can never go wrong with a book to help teach them more about their craft. Do your homework, and find a book that has an author with a track record of success within that game or industry. Remember that oftentimes, this won't be the flashiest looking book with the most pictures. Give the gift with a gift receipt, and if they don't like it or already have it, they can easily return it and get something that they can really use.
